Period 5: Horoscopes - Fact or Fiction



Do you believe that horoscopes are true? Why or why not? Find a description of the animal that represents you in the Chinese Zodiac or your Astrological sign. Read the personality description associated with it. Do you think it accurately describes you? Why or why not? Which parts describe you? Which parts do not?


Also, tell me where you got your description of your sign or your animal.

I am a Libra and.com i got my decription of sign from www.horoscopes, and the pat about "You're better off just saying how you feel even if you think someone may be put off by it". Also i really don't believe in them sometimes,but they someday they are totally right and then somday I say... this sound nothing like me. Now the prt that says"Realize that your inner state of mind is quite apparent to people just by the look on your face" i think has nothing to do with me, but mostly think that all people get a pice of mind by just the way someone looks, or acts.

I went to yahoo's horoscopes to find mine and I am a Leo. Sometimes I can see how the horoscopes mention things that i can say seem like me but also notice things that seem nothing near what I am like. One part that is surly true is " You are not somebody who just sits around twiddling their thumbs." but the part that isn't true is it saying that maybe I should day dream or paint my house :P.

Well I checked my horoscope and I am an Aquarius. And to be honest most of the descriptions of the sign about me are true. I really do most of the time say things that I really don't mean and regret it in the end. I always like to over-think things, even with the simple things. I really don't like to show sensitivity because I would feel too feminine. Also, I work hard for what I get. Sometimes I stay up late for the entire day just to finish my project/homework. And sometimes I can even see people who they are just by the way they look and act. I'm also not very talkative among groups and would only communicate with only people I know.

But one thing that isn't true about myself is that Aquariuses like to show "a wild side"... I'm not sure what that means. But I'm pretty certain that doesn't fit my personality.

Sometimes I think that horoscopes are true because they really do match my description. Yet they also make me wonder where and how in the world do these people get the answers, and it's so accurate sometimes! I am a Sagittarius and I got my zodiac from www.horoscope.com... The zodiac says that the Sagittarius is "...almost impossible to keep down. They love change." I think both statements are very true about me. For example, I change my room decorations all the time just because I get bored with it and need something new. The zodiac also says that the Sagittarius is "...inquisitive and energetic..." which is also very true. I ask too many questions sometimes, and my energy almost never dies out. Everything this zodiac described fits me, and I really do believe it's true.

I think horoscopes are somehow real because of some people's personality and how they are in life explaining which one belongs to them according to the year they were born on. Well turns out im a Leo-Generous and warmhearted creative and enthusiastic Broad-minded and expansive faithful and loving. I think this actually describes me because I'am very creative in my mind and I'am faithful and loving to others well not all the time but most of the time.

There really alot of leo's in my class.I feel so special but I went and seen it again today and I believe that now most of what it says is true.

I looked up Leo, and I figured that the rest of the stuff about Leo is pretty off about you. Oh well, at least they got some of the parts right!!!

I don't think horoscopes are true. I think they are very vague, and people can interpret it anyway they want to, so they end up thinking it's true. My zodiac sign is a leo. I got my horoscope from www.horoscope.com. On the site it says that "leos are dramatic". I don't think I'm dramatic. The part that I do agree with is that is says leos will enjoy spending time with friends and family, which I do.

My horoscope is cancer and i think its true because it says in http://www.cafeastrology.com/zodiaccancer.html that cancers are dependable and and trusting , it also says that they can get in touch with the feelings and moods of others. In the Chinese Zodiac im a rat and in the chinese zodiac iyt says that the rat is sociable, dealing easily with people from all backgrounds, and they enjoy the good in life and i think its true because i am socialble and i love have a good time in life. I don't believe in horoscopes but i find it a coincedence that my horoscope which is pisces , the personality fits mine. I am shy , very trustworthy, and extremely gullible. i HATE Noise. I absolutley can't stand dirt and ugliness, I hate tight spaces.But i still justt cant get myself to believe in horoscopes. I don't believe them because i think god created everyone diffrent and they shouldnt rely on sign just cause it just so happens to match thier personaility. when i checked my sign accurately matched my personality.
