The thing that stood out the most was how many people get assaults each year. It is ridiculous that other human beings would do that to each other. It makes me feel unsafe in thr world and my surrobdings that i live in .

Quite frankly, I wasn't shocked, especially in this day in age. Now I'm not by any means saying that his was okay, however, with the way consequences are carried out these days, it's not surprising that these statistics have risen to such extreme levels. What shocks me though is that within the heads of these people that do these things, they see it as "okay" or "really cool". I have had a friend that was recently affected by these actions and I've done everything I could to help them. Never the less, I can not undo their actions. I just wish there was something more I could do...

PS - I was only able to comment by logging in with Google+, but I can't comment on anybody's post. There may be a problem with Blogger, and also may be why nobody has posted... I'd check the settings and be sure nothing has changed.

I agree with courtney about how people are assaults each year. It is crazy and it doesn't seem right how that many people are assulted. The one thing that stood out to me the most was the number of womens that been raped. It shows that men are taking advantge of women and rapeing them. The numbers made mi feel bad for the womens who was raped the past few years. I felt bad becuase the womens are helpless and is over powered by the man and is also scared to the the police or someone - Sean Rowe

What stood out to me was the huge number of cases of sexual assault and bullying and such a low number for those actually helping these people. My group guesses for each statement was far off from the actual statistics,we were stunned. We knew that it'd be bad but we weren't anticipating that there's such a huge amount of people out there dealing with these problems. I felt sick when I saw the statistics because I believe that no one should have to deal with sexual assault and bullying, everyone should be treated the way they should be treated. I was disgusted to know that people out there that treat others like..an item to be used.ugh..

Honestly, I don't know what to say because I was in the restroom when we were discussing this...

I was astounded by the percentage of rapists who never went to jail. It's sickening how people can do this kind of stuff and not get sentenced. It's also scary how most people who are raped are raped by people they actually know. You never really know things until it happens..

I do not understand why some people would go out there way just to hurt somebody else. It crazy how people think these day . But you have to count your blessing that it not u and thank god. But if you are the person who is getting rape or bully you should get help from and positive adult and pray about the bad things going on.
